Just received delivery of Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X 3rd Edition.
I’ve flipped through and briefly compared the 2nd and 3rd editions. The two books are very similar yet I feel very comfortable with my purchase. The new edition sports a more subtle cover design, as well as Aaron’s spiffy new haircut. Here’s a quick blurb from the back.
“Updated for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, this revised edition includes coverage of Xcode 3, Objective-C 2, Core Data, the garbage collector, and CoreAnimation.”
The best part….
The 2nd Edition is 450 pages in length.
The 3rd Edition is 433 pages or 17 pages shorter! This speaks volumes to me about the time, effort and skill poured into this book.
